Loving What Is by Byron Katie |
Known simply as "The Work," Byron Katie's methods are clean and straightforward. The basis is a series of four questions addressed to your own lists of written assumptions. Whether you're angry with your boss, frustrated with your teen's behavior, or appalled at the state of the world's environment, Katie suggests you write down your most honest thoughts on the matter, and then begin the examination. Starting with, "Is it true?" and continuing with explorations of "Who would you be without that thought?" this method allows you to get through unhelpful preconceptions and find peace."
This is one of the most powerful books I have found in dealing with the mind and moving your toward opening thoughts when your mind is stuck in a closing moment.

Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle |
|
Ekhart Tolle's message is simple: living in the now is the truest path to happiness and enlightenment. And while this message may not seem stunningly original or fresh, Tolle's clear writing, supportive voice, and enthusiasm make this an excellent manual for anyone who's ever wondered what exactly "living in the now" means. Foremost, Tolle is a world-class teacher, able to explain complicated concepts in concrete language. More importantly, within a chapter of reading this book, readers are already holding the world in a different container--more conscious of how thoughts and emotions get in the way of their ability to live in genuine peace and happiness.

Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women |
For Women:
The Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshop will help you understand why men do what they do. You will find out what not to take personally – and even make sense of their most annoying behaviors and learn how to deal with them.
PAX has several workshops but the one that I recommend is The Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshop. This course is not just for romantic relationships, if you have a son, brother, father, male coworkers or partners this course will transform your understanding of men completely. It will shift the perspective that you have so dramatically that you will not even have the same impression of men and you will be able to create the relationship you want with all the men in your life.
This course is an absolute must for all women. This is a strong statement but not one woman that I have sent to the program has had anything less than extraordinary results. The only feedback that I have received is from someone that I have recommended the course to is, "I should have taken it when you first told me to."

The original intent of Brain State Technology was to create a brain that was able to access high mystical, tactical and creative states not typically available. In fact, he mapped the brains of several Buddhist monks (closely associated with the Dali Lama) which became part of the model he was wishing to achieve. Far more has been accomplished:BST can enhance creativity, organization, intuition, IQ, extend life and health and that is just the beginning.. And, as we may have discussed, BST can have a very powerful effect on ADD, ADHD, depression, drug addictions, sleep disorders, anxiety, unresolved anger to name just a few.
I have worked with Thea and Greg myself. I ask for each of my coaching clients work with them to help develop the base for the rest of the information of Power Manifestation and their IGS to function from. I cannot recommend this more highly.

Rob Badger and Nita Winter Photography |
For 40 years Rob has created images of the natural world for a wide variety of clients, collectors and art buyers. His extensive collection of nature photographs (geographically and seasonally diverse) range from dramatic, complex and colorful, to soft and subtle.
His mastery of light and color, and his ability to emotionally portray the essence of a place in time, has won him international awards for his Antarctica series, and “Best in Journalism” for his evocative environmental photography, work that is simultaneously beautiful and disturbing.
Using both aerial and ground perspectives, Rob’s powerful color imagery focuses on conservation, population and environmental issues. His illustrated lecture series, “Mining on Public Land” documents the destructive and toxic legacy of mining in America. In 1998 Rob was chosen by the Sierra Club to deliver this lecture at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. to support their efforts in promoting federal mining law reform. Rob’s nature and environmental images have appeared in calendars, books, newspapers and national and international magazines, including The New York Times and Washington Post, TIME, OMNI, Better Homes and Gardens, National Wildlife, Sunset, Sierra, Wilderness Society and World Watch Magazines.
Nita Winter, a Marin City based award winning photographer, was born in 1954 in Glen Cove New York. Nita's fascination with photography was kindled as young girl by her father with whom she spent hours in the darkroom. Her own photographic passion began during her senior year at Clark University where she earned a degree in biology. After graduation she was awarded a three month fellowship at the Maine Photographic Workshop.
In 1976 Nita moved to San Francisco and began to document her work fighting fires and leading tours on Alcatraz Island while working for the National Parks Service. In 1982 she began working for non-profit agencies photographing what has become her passion: people. Her client list has grown to include local businesses, national and international corporations and publications, including the New York Times, SF Examiner, SF Chronicle, Marin Independent Journal, Ladies' Home Journal, Sesame and Parenting magazines. Nita has remained closely associated with community organizations and continues to dedicate her time and talent to improve the quality of life of those they represent.
In her words: "I thoroughly enjoy recording candid moments in people's lives, especially those of children.

Green Home Building |
|
The reason for building greener homes is really quite important. We need to live more lightly on the earth, because the degradation of our environment is compromising not only our survival, but the survival of most other living beings on the planet. We can no longer ignore the impact we have on the earth's ecosystems. The way we live, the choices we make in providing for our needs, will have an enormous influence on the quality of life of those who will follow us. Now is the time to take responsibility for the consequences of our life styles!

Ideal Bite |
|
The philosophy behind Ideal Bite is simple: If we all knew what we could do in the day to day to impact the planet and our communities in a positive way, we’d do it. We know from countless studies, personal experience, and common sense that negative environmental messages aren’t very helpful. We don’t want someone to tell us what’s wrong…unless we understand how we can help. As concerned as we are, few of us are willing to change our lifestyle for a vague “greater good.” We need more than that: a personal reason to make a change, and the knowledge and inspiration to follow through.
